Asking $31,500.00 or Best Offer for my very well taken care of BentleyS3 RHD. I am only the 3rd owner and I've owned it since 1991. It wasimported by a friend of mine in 1976. Garage stored with all originalparts, paint (color is Sable!!), leather seats, headliner, tables, andeven 2 of the tires are original from 1964!!! Engine runs very well andeverything works. Can be great daily driver for an appreciative person.MUST SALE quickly. Please call me is you are a serious cash buyer only.-I would prefer to sale to a private party who will love this very rare,hand-made Bentley as I did. Will consider any reasonable offer.

For those who are unfamiliar, the Bentley S3 and the Silver Cloud IIIwere absolutely identical with both vehicles hand built at the RollsRoyce factory in Crewe, England with the only differences being theirnameplates, radiator and mascots. In the 1970's a few Bentley S3's wereimported from England to the U.S. and converted with the Silver CloudIII radiator, mascot and nameplates as the Bentley was not asappreciated or as coveted as it's identical cousin the Rolls Royce, making these original Bentley's all the more rare and desirable thantheir cousins!

This particular example was originally sold by 'H.R. Owen LTD, of LondonEngland in 1964, one of the oldest family owned motor car dealers inthe UK and established in 1932 and the car was imported to the U.S. inthe seventies and maintained over the years as necessary and withprecise attention to detail; including maintaining the original Beigecolor 'Connolly' leather front hides whilst leaving the virtuallyunblemished rear hides as is with a beautiful original patina and withthe rest of the interior including the carpets, wool headliner, doorpanels, window posts and kick panels, chrome, paint, the African burledwalnut wood, seals, rubbers etc all virtually original and still as new! With decades of pride of ownership and professional specialistmaintenance, this cherished and obviously always garaged car has nohistory of any accidents. The original floor boards, trunk and all thetypical rust-prone areas completely solid!

The beautiful and highly desirable color of the cars original 'Sable'exterior paint complete with hand painted pin stripes is absolutelystunning and still quite pristine. The car's full 'Connolly' light beigeleather interior, which was exclusively used in Rolls Royce andBentley's and came from unfenced cows which produced unblemished hides, has been well maintained with distinguished signs of light wear and allthe chrome work, including the front Bentley grille and the front andrear bumpers, is absolutely outstanding. The car has it's original sparewheel and original jack and tools still located in their rightful placeof storage in the trunk compartment. An obviously always garagedexample and owned by obviously only very careful and meticulous owner'sdriver's for over fifty years - never abused!

The car drives exactly like a well maintained and serviced Rolls Royceor Bentley should and must be driven to be fully appreciated and seen tobe believed! The original V8 engine is extremely strong and the enginetemperature always remains cool. The car drives straight as an arrowwith no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles and is a trulyremarkable and responsive daily driver! The car still boasts itsoriginal radio, power steering, power windows, power brakes, adjustableride control, Lucas fog lights, electric window defogger, twin picnictables, lambs wool carpeting and mohair headliner and electric clock.Turn-key ready, as already stated, this particular model truly must bedriven and seen to be fully appreciated.

You will surely look long and hard to find a finer example of thisundocumented but seemingly original low-mile 1964 Bentley S3, whichlooks virtually identical to its twin Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III apartfrom grilles and hubcaps, with no signs of any accident history andstill boasting its original 'Marston Excelsior' of Leeds, radiator inthe front of the engine under the hood. Marston Excelsior originallymade metal fuel tanks for Wellington bombers and other aircraft and werecommissioned by Bentley to install their radiators in the earlysixties! For those who are unfamiliar, Rolls Royce no longer exists asit had for over one hundred years - this is one of the last in theoriginal line of cars built in the legendary Rolls Royce factory inCrewe, England with a quality and craftsmanship that far surpasses thatof today's mass produced models with many BMW parts - this is a rareopportunity to own a piece of automobile history, from a time when RollsRoyce and Bentley were truly building the world's finest motor cars.

This increasingly desirable and now most collectible of the last andfinal third series of this legendary marque, the Bentley S3, boasts theall aluminum powerful 6.2L V8 engine and the redesigned front-end lowerhood and radiator with quad front headlamps mounted in oval nacelles -considered a shocking violation of RR tradition at the time with onemagazine went so far as to refer to the quad lights as the equivalent toinstalling a jukebox in Winchester cathedral! Along with it's tallgrille and Bentley 'Flying B' hood ornament mascot on the hood, the S3is a moving work of art from a time when Rolls-Royce and Bentley werefamously building the "Best Cars in the World" with the craftsmanshipand quality of these cars obviously speaking for themselves.

It is becoming increasingly hard to find such unabused examples as thesemodels become thinner and thinner on the ground and harder to find astime has its way with them and with only some 1,286 Bentley S3 modelsbuilt between it's 1962-65 production years and with this being thefirst model in which Rolls Royce production exceeded Bentley's, itshould ensure even greater rarity for this particularly rare Bentley S3example, especially considering how numerous numbers of these rareBentley's were tragically and unceremoniously 'butchered' (converted)into Rolls Royces by replacing their beautiful grilles and hubcaps andmascots!

With all models now very thin on the ground you will surely look longand hard to find another such example in such fine condition with loworiginal miles and with its original owners manual, tools and spare! Sobid with confidence, with Silver Cloud III and S3 convertibles nowregularly selling in excess of $250K, this will no doubt prove afabulous investment for the astute investor, Bentley or Rolls Royceenthusiast or collector or simply a great daily driver or weekend toyfor the discerning luxury classic car owner!
